Isabelle is walking most of the time. She wobbiles still, and occasionally crawls, but her walking is improving and she’s picking up speed.
The bottom eye-teeth are through and very visible. We’re waiting for the top ones, though we’ve had a break for a few weeks now and have glimpsed our smiley, happy girl. Trully, she smiles almost all the time.
Bella has adopted a stuffed soldier doll that has been around since I was little. She can’t sleep without it. She rubs the string around his neck, and sucks her thumb. Her head rests on his and often she hugs him. He’s so ugly, but they are so cute together. We call him “Mr. Soldier”.
Food is when Isabelle is most stubborn. It’s a battle trying to figure out what she wants (besides carbs/crackers). I just discovered she will eat more of something is she can use the spoon and feed herself.
Bella and her friend Viola are a hoot together. They are nearly the same age, and at the same level walking – they look like twins. Sienna and I took them to the aquarium last week and it was wonderful watching them. Here’s a picture of all 7 of us (baby-to-be) hiking this past weekend on one of the last warm weekends of the season.

I am now 22 weeks and definitely showing. I’m much bigger this time around, probably due to eating the wrong things. I crave spicy foods, though they do not agree with me. Already I’m getting heartburn. Until 3 weeks ago I fit into my normal pants, then suddenly I could no longer zip them up. Maternity clothes here I come…
What Bella likes to do:
-“mama” or “dada” in a soft voice
-hugging our legs
-sucking thumb in crib with Mr. Soldier (her stuffed toy); hugging him
-playing with her jewelry can
-playing with kitty using her necklaces
-having us throw Guiness the play mouse
-fuzz power with kitty
-playing and putting cards in her wallet
-playing and flopping on bed
-feeding herself with spoon
-finding her or our bellys (presses face against belly
-giving lots of hugs
-favorite toy: guiness
