Today, Bella climbed up a few steps on her own for the first time.
She is mastering pulling herself on things and letting herself down once she is up. You can tell she is studying all the time.
The other day she saw a little puppy Yorky (small dog). Bella thought it was the cutest thing. She kept laughing and laughing.
Lately, she is much more clingy with me and wants me to be around a lot, though she’s still pretty good with strangers. The other day though she burst out crying when I brought her to work.
Eating: she’s loving to eat now – though is picky about textures. The star crackers are still her favorite. Yesterday she tried green beans for the first time as a finger food. She seemed to like them.
What Bella likes to do:
-riding in backback for a hike or walk
-pulling off hat
-play hide-and-seek with mommy around the playpen
-petting kitty
-pull curtains aside and bang on window
-find any small corner or hidden secret place

Today, bella wanted me to hold her most of the day. Very unusual for little miss independent.
In just one week my life has changed:Isabelle is mastering partial climbing. I have to watch her constantly. She seems to have grown tremendously in one week with her abilities. Crawling, climbing, dexterity, talking, eating, understanding, awareness, etc.
Lately I keep looking at her in amazement. I guess I’m falling in love again with my little girl. Often she is so cute wandering around the house alone or giggling when I tease her. Many times I want the moments to be captured somehow. Already I’m feeling sad that she is growing up. Her little face is cute, with eyes bright with curiosity that crinkle when she giggles.
Isabelle just wants to walk. She pulls herself up on everything to standing. Much of the time she gets frustrated, but she keeps trying.
Isabelle babbling sounds are different from before. It is much more like words – especially with our cat. Every time Bella sees her, she cries “Eeeh!” which Mike and I are convinced is “Kitty”.
Eating: she has dropped two feedings the past few days. We’re down to breastfeeding 4 times a day. Milk supply is dimishing fast. It makes me rather sad.
Tooth number 7 has appeared, bottom left. This one is not effecting her like the others.
What Bella likes to do:
-play hide-and-seek with mommy around the playpen
-while crawling, lifting self on toes
-pull curtains aside and bang on window
-petting kitty
-find any small corner or hidden secret place
-chew on everything
-pull out books
-chomp on papers if she can find them.

The last 4th tooth has finally popped out. It has been a whole month of teething. It took a few more days before her sunny personality finally appeared.
Sleeping through the night? well, we’re back to waking. Teething has thrown everything off.
Eating: Isabelle wants to do it mostly all herself. I’m trying all sorts of finger foods, but the only thing she really eats is bread or crackers.
Crawling is improving daily. She can now crawl fast. Climbing has just joined her repetoire.
