Thank you for visiting our website where I write tidbits of us Cooneys. Enjoy!
Activities for end of February, March, and early April: sound of music play; Alford Brook Club work party and stocking fish; Helen’s birthday party; cooking hotdogs over fire in garden; last snow play; rain, rain; melting snow; windy days; visits to playground; March sicknesses (strep, fevers, cold, etc…endless 3 weeks); working at cottage; raking; Jack’s Birthday; Jack’s superhero birthday party; Helen’s visit; staying at moms; cleaning mom’s yard; Baby Gianna love is born;
With the snow gone, the kids are eager to leave the house and play outside. There is freedom of movement, which Seamus finds especially liberating.
Nothing brings Mike and I joy more than seeing the three together and playing.
Isabelle (6.5 years):
• Isabelle jumped 3 levels in reading; She is now reading level 4 books; Every time I see her she is reading out loud.
Jack (4 3/4 years):
• suddenly into drawing, cutting, etc.
• still loves his trains. Often stages crashes.
Seamus (1.5 years):
• Into climbing
• running around house
• saying more words all the time
• Understands much of what I say to him
• He is now getting his eye teeth.
• When Seamus sees the others run, he takes offknowing that with them comes fun action.
• When feeling well, seamus is a ball of sunshine and laughter. He causes the rest of us to laugh.
