Christmas was good to Isabelle. She got a doll and carriage, a sled, blocks, books, clothes and other toys. She got the idea of unwrapping and was excited by all the gifts under the tree. Most of all though she loved the decorations. Every day she wanted the tree lit and each night to bed she said night to the tree, mini-tree, santa, etc.
Isabelle’s speed has picked up to a nearly a run. She attempts to climb things, especially the couch, but she is still unable to do it.
Her vocabulary is still limited but she’s understanding more every day. She is nodding Yes or No all the time in answer to questions.
Small tempertantrums have begun. If she doesn’t get her way, we get the fake crying, and dropping to the floor in frustration. At these times we either secretly laugh or ignore her. The testing has really begun.
Baby-to-be (due 3.20.06)
I am now 32 weeks along. The baby moves a lot, mostly in the evening. He or She is ACTIVE. Somehow I seem to feel it more than I did with Isabelle. Some of the movement actually kept me awake the other night. I’m more tired and winded with this baby, though overall I feel pretty good. Eight weeks left.
What Bella likes to do:
-nodding yes or no
-looking out the window at the birds and animals
