January 14, 2011

Thank you for visiting our website where I write tidbits of us Cooneys. Enjoy!

All of us reveled in the gigantic snowstorm this week. Totally awesome snow of pure white fluffiness. 2 feet. The kids were off and even Mike stayed home. THough our backs were tired at the end of the day from constant shoveling, it was exhaustion of pure happiness.
Now we’re building forts, caves, paths, sledding routes, tunnels, into every snow mountain in the yard. The kids are so excited, even seamus.

Bella and Jack are learning to ski. Let’s hope they are better skiers than me.

Activities for January: lots of sledding; playing in snow, eating snow; playing at mom’s house; overnight at mom’s, sledding to bus stop; snow day from 2foot snowstorm; snow mountains; learning to ski; ice skating; taking christmas decorations down;

So I was sick for Christmas and christmas week. Two weeks of a fever over 100. I was diagnosed with the flu. Luckily mike had the week off and took care of us all. I sat on the couch with no energy. Finally I visited the doctor again in complete despair and they did blood work again, and found I have Lyme disease. Ah, the answer to all my recent health issues. I’m on antibiotics now and feel tremendously better. Let’s hope I kick it.
