Week of June 21, 2004
I’ve experienced false labor twice so far. Both times lasted a few hours, with pain in the lower back.
We’ve almost completed packing our bag for the hospital. It’s better to be ready – even at 3 weeks away.
Week of June 14, 2004
June 17, I met with the mid-wife – who I’ve asked to be at our birth. We chose her over any of the doctors because of her great reputation.
I’m experiencing the baby hiccuping everyday now. I’m also having a more difficult time sleeping or at least getting comfortable. The kicking and movement is much stronger now…I love this part.
My baby shower was this past weekend. A wonderful time had by all!
Week of June 7, 2004
Met with a doctor last week, and everything is going fine. The baby is already positioned head-down, although this could change within the next few weeks. I’ve gained ~22 lbs so far. Within the past week, it feels like my belly has grown tremendously.
