Yesterday Jack gave me their fake camera and said, ‘take a picture of my nose’, after a few ‘pictures’ he said ‘take a picture of my ‘mouff”, which stands for mouth. So cute.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY JACK!
Jack is 3 today. What a big boy! He goes around singing “happy birthday to me”. We can’t believe he’s three.
We hosted a small party of friends which went fabulous. Four couples, 9 kids, eight of which were boys. Poor Bella! Beautiful day though…in the 50’s. Spring is coming!

Welcome to the new look! I figured at my new age, the site needed an uplift.

Happy Valentine’s Day!
I had my ultrasound on Thursday. 20 weeks and 4 days, so I’m halfway through. Picture of hand is above and everything seems okay. We chose not to know the sex of the baby. Baby was facing, so no good pictures of profile were taken. Jack, Bella, and Mike were at the appointment. Best line from Jack “Mommy, just push it out!”.

Yesterday, Mike the kids and I went snowshoing at Tanglewood. How beautiful and what fun. I could kick myself for not bringing my camera. Jack at one point fell down on his back, he lay there and then decided “hey, while I’m here, I’ll make a snow angel”
Past month: trip to Boston for Isabelle’s stye (growing back); playing in snow, icicle hunting, snowshoeing; school; ballet; dinner out; girls night; happy kids; shopping; house cleaning and decorating (I call it nesting); exercise.
I’m feeling SO much better. In fact I have so much more energy and so little nausea, that I’m worried I’m no longer pregnant. I have an appointment on Monday, which I’m glad for. BUT my belly is getting much bigger. What’s to worry about? On Friday I think I felt movement for the first time…I’m 18 weeks along.
Colds and ear infections were part of early January, along with unhappy kids. Then they snapped out and they been the happiest children. Bella especially was so listless and now she bounds with enery and happy spirits. She dances everywhere.
Christmas is over. Way over and I forgot to write what a marvelous time we had, just a small group of us. Jack was so excited about Santa, not because he knew who he was, but because of Isabelle. Bella got dolls, suitcases, puzzles. Jack got puzzles, horse truck, and small wood train. After New Year’s the Larrivee clans came for visits. What fun playing games and sledding.
Our bedroom is complete and it looks gorgeous. I LOVE it.
WHAT THEY DO:
Isabelle: She’s a regular bag lady/pack rat. Where ever she goes she drags bags of stuff and creates various stations around the house with her little world: pads of paper, pens, dolls, friends, stickie notes, purses, etc. She LOVES ballet class.
Sayings: “Is today tomorrow?”
Jack: He’s now into cutting paper, crafting, cooking. He wants to help. He wants us to play with him. He’s into games. Often he’ll say “do you want to play a game with me?”
JACK AND BELLA TOGETHER:
Our little twins. Close in height and similar in action. Monkey see, monkey do. If Bella runs the length of the house, Jack has to follow.
Both LOVE the snow and cold. They run to the door to go out, though Jack is a chore to get his snowsuit on. Once they are outside, off they run, playing, sliding, eating snow, munchingon icicles. We’ve created a winterwonderland of snow, sliding places, snow mountains, mazes. The kids love it out here and I’m SO glad there is snow for them to play with, otherwise just the cold would be tedious.
