Jack: Nights are still rough with him waking every few hours. I did have one night of 4 block hours of sleep. Yeah!

Jack visited the doctor for his two month. He weighs 15lbs 10oz. WOW!!! No wonder he wakes up every few hours. In two months he has more than doubled his weight.

Jack is much more alert and smiley. He enormous and very cuddily.

He was baptized this past weekend. He barely fit into the baptismal gown. During the ceremony he didn’t cry once.

Isabelle: Is still having a tough time and is often weepy of late. She still carries Mr. Soldier around with her. The cause we found out after a day of tears and tantrums was the first of her two year molars poking through. FINALLY!!

She is now piecing words together. It’s amazing how her little mind works.

Isabelle is often helping me to do things – especially regarding the baby. All day she likes to help.

Now she points to herself when she’s talking about herself or wants something. It’s almost as though she’s saying “Can Isabelle have that?”

New words: nona, grandpa, bee, done.

Jack is eight weeks already. Nights are still rough with him waking every few hours. I’m going to have to let him cry it out soon. He weighs enough for this. He has got to be at least 13 pounds now!

Yesterday was the first time he laid on his back for an hour – awake – quietly without screaming. He was mellow. What a wonderful break for me.

Jack has started to smile. So funny amongst all the dimples.

Isabelle: Is still having a tough time adjusting to the new nap schedule (12:30), one nap a day. She is often weepy of late. She has taken to carrying Mr. Soldier around with her and sucking her thumb on and off during the day. She used to only suck her thumb in the crib. This is either a change in nap schedule or a result of the new baby in the house.

Bella LOVES going outside. She constantly wants to go outside and play in the yard. She loves to pick dandelions or flowers and gather pinecones. She often plays on the porch herself, with pitchers of water, pouring water from one to the other.

Isabelle runs around now. She can get pretty crazy and wound up. This especially happens towards bedtime. She especially likes to be crazy, and then look at you to see if you are paying attention. I think that ATTENTION is the key word here.

Total vocabulary: momma, daddy, baby, uh oh, no, up, wow, whoa.

Other Misc: did I mention we have a new, used car? Yes, I am a proud owner of a minivan (not really). It is nice to drive though and the ample room inside is nice for me and the kids.
