Isabelle slept in her crib for the first time today. She took a one hour nap.

Isabelle is now over 3 months old! Her hair is growing in quite a bit, mostly on top of her head so she looks like she has a mohawk.
She sleeps a lot right now and only loves her cradle. Because there is usually only 1 hr between naps, I have difficulty doing any errands. Isabelle goes to bed at 7pm and fully wakes at 6:30 am. She nurses 3 times in the night.
She’s definitely a morning child, who coos, smiles, and is very active.
Isabelle will be moving to the big crib within the next few weeks, and maybe even her own room!
She pushes herself up by her hands, while she’s on her stomach and looks all around. Very cute.

Today Isabelle sucked her thumb for the first time in front of me while sitting on the couch.
October 15, 2004
Isabelle can now hold her hands to her mouth and keep them there. When ever tired she sucks on her entire fist – left or right. Before napping in the cradle, she sucks her thumb.
She LOVES her walks now outdoors.
Last weekend Isabelle was baptized. She wore the Hains baptismal outfit – 150yrs old!! During the ceremony she was terrific. She even pooped in happiness. After the ceremony she screamed for pictures. We had a party afterwards in her honor.

Isabelle is growing rapidly. This week she discovered she loves to go on walks in the carriage. I no longer have to carry her in a front-pack.
She has also become very set in her ways. Any disruption in her napping brings forth great amounts of protest. She also knows what she wants. When she wants to go to bed, she’ll scream for her cradle- and if I want to rock her to calm her down, she protests more. Once I place her in the cradle, she calms right down.
Isabelle will be moving to her crib very soon. She’s already getting too long for the cradle.
