Another tragedy in the family. Mike’s step-dad passed away last week. It was a shock.

These past two weeks have been ROUGH. I came down with a cold and proceeded to give it to Jack and Bella. So little sleep!! Never mind that Jack is getting his front top teeth.

Jack is loud. He constantly talks, babbles or yells. My mom is convinced he likes to hear himself talk. He has taken to yelling loudly when we feed him, as well as spit as he eats.

Jack is still at the stage where rocks back and forth on his hands and knees. Sitting, he still needs to be held.

Jack smiles lots now. In the morning he talks and laughs with me.

Isabelle:

Words are coming fast and furious. Two and three words together and repeating what we say. I’ll have to list all the interesting things she’s saying.

Bella is getting better at walking without being afraid of cars. She especially loves to go to the park and the blue wee (blue slide).

Isabelle loves if you play with her. She’ll pat the floor and say “mama”, meaning, mama sit here.

Fall is a great time for doing activities: crunching through leaves, jumping in piles of leaves, visiting Bartletts orchard, brisk walks, harvest fairs, watching coashes, Applesqueeze in Lenox, Tub parade, picking out pumpkins, etc.

Things she likes to do:
-putting things in and out of containers
-playing with bubbles
-helping with chores
-sweeping floor

Jack is still large. Both kids are wearing the same size clothing. So much for hand-me-downs.

Jack is now at the beginning stages of crawling. He gets on his hands and knees and rocks back and forth, crying loudly. Or he gets on his toes, loudly proclaiming his frustration. Jack is plain loud with anything he does. He’s also sitting quite well by himself, though I do have to hold him.

Jack is still NOT sleeping through the night. Each time we go to make him cry it out, there is some excuse.

After months and months of him spitting up constantly, the doctor said he has acid-reflux. Jack is now on medicine and he’s much better. I hate giving it to him, but he’s a new person.

Jack smiles lots now. In the morning he talks and laughs with me.

Food feeding is a laugh. He’s messy, messy! In the hair and he spits and blows raspberries with food in his mouth. I forgot how much I hate this stage.

Jack has two bottom teeth which he got in August, although two more on top are making their way through…

Isabelle:

She is sunshine. Her swee personality has returned after MONTHS of this other child.

Baby baba is now slightly replaced by her doll Dora. It’s all in the string

Words are coming fast and furious. Two and three words together and repeating what we say. I’ll have to list all the interesting things she’s saying.

Bella is shy and often scared of noises. In her comfortable element she is loud and noisy.

Right now she’s doing so many interesting and funny things, that I have a tough time keeping track. I love hanging out with her and she’s a true joy – most of the time!

Things she likes to do:
-slide the wee
-dance to music
-play with stickers
-sweep the floor
-wash laundry
