The living area and bedroom of the apartment are now painted, sanded, etc. Mike installed the kitchen cabinets and the plumber installed the toilet and sink. Again more troubles, we bought the wrong kitchen sink, so mike had to go back to the store. Later the plumber tried to install the bathroom sink and discovered the corner was chipped off. We’ll need to make another trip to the store.
What’s left? painting the bathroom, installing fixtures, re-working the exterior stairs.

Mike and I worked every night for 10 days , sometimes until 11:00 painting the apartment before the sanders came. We finished just before they were scheduled to arrive. Except for a few mistakes, like putting the tape up while the paint was wet and using trim paint in places for the ceiling paint, the apartment looks beautiful. This is what happens to sleep deprived people.
We stayed at my parents while the floors were sanded.

Every night this past week Mike and I have worked late prepping for painting the apartment. Last night we finished priming everything. Now comes the actual painting.
